About Me:

Hi, I’m Rocky 

I’m a 1-year-old Boerboel x Pitbull boy with a heart full of love and a spirit that refuses to quit.

When I was just 4 months old, I was brought into a vet clinic really sick… I had CPV (Canine Parvo Virus) and rickets, which made my legs painfully bowed. I was so uncomfortable that I tried to lick my joints to soothe them, but that only made things worse. Painful hotspots turned into serious infections, and sadly, one of them became too severe to save. I had to have my front left leg amputated.

When my owner found out… he never came back. He stopped answering calls, stopped checking in and just left me there. I didn’t understand why. But I didn’t stay alone for long.

That’s when Special Paws Sanctuary stepped in. They didn’t just see a broken puppy, they saw me. They helped me build strength in my remaining front leg, helped me learn how to run and play again, and gave me all the love I was missing.

Today, I’m strong, playful, and full of joy. I zoom around with my friends, wrestle, cuddle, and chase toys like any other dog. You’d never guess I only have three legs!

I’m a social butterfly – I love people, other dogs, and being part of the action. That’s why I’d really love a forever home with at least one furry friend (or more!) to keep me company. I’ve got a lot of love to give and all I ask for in return is a soft place to land and a heart that won’t give up on me.
